Senaci

Senaci is a hub of mining activity for Human and Ceepharian corporations. Travel in the system can be dangerous for unescorted ships; bands of pirates hide in the asteroid and gas clouds waiting to get rich from a fully loaded iron tug.

  1. Barrom – Barrom is a ball of molten iron and rock. Volcanos spew forth plumes of smoke and steel. Mining satellites orbit the planet, sending probes down to the surface to mine as much metal as they can before they melt.
  2. A large plume of green oxygen ringing the star
  3. Lindan -
  4. The Senaci Fields – almost a million kilometers of asteroid field, haunted in equal amounts by miners and the pirates who prey on them.
  5. Danti – 100 years of heavy mining has reduced Danti to a husk of a planet. Once a great forest ringed the whole equator, but no longer. Huge pits and abandoned mine shafts dot the surface, filled with dirty water and mining equipment abandoned inside them as their owners have moved onto new prospects. A handful of mines still operate, hauling the last remnants of Danti’s wealth to the surface.
  6. Artemis Station – second only to Enford, Artemis station is one of the most important trading hubs in the Void. Its two rings house 2 million inhabitants, and the docks are able to accommodate hundreds of ships at once. A high speed elevator provides easy access to the surface of Danti, though it is little used now.
  7. Senaci IV – Little more than a ball of rock and ice, Senaci VII would not be included on this map but for the discovery an ancient outpost on the planets surface, of unknown origin.
